The Le@rning Federation Schools Online Curriculum Content Initiative

The Le@rning Federation's collection of digital curriculum content includes more than 1,000 independent learning objects, developed on behalf of all the educational jurisdictions across Australia and New Zealand.

Student-focused

Our learning objects are created in collaboration with teachers, and are designed to help students achieve specific learning outcomes. During the development process, each object undergoes rigorous quality assurance that includes critique from teachers and students. The resulting content can be easily integrated into classroom activities and units of work.

Strict interoperability standards

The learning objects also meet strict international interoperability standards, which means that they are compatible with learning management solutions, interactive whiteboard software and other learning systems.

Each learning object has educational metadata that clearly outlines learning objectives, suggested year levels and keywords. As such, TLF content can be segmented in a variety of ways to meet the requirements of individual schools.

The metadata allows learning objects to be segmented into:

  • subject, topic or theme;
  • year level;
  • stage (primary or secondary).
