Open Explorer Builder

Years 8–12

Use the Open Explorer Builder tool for building an interactive multimedia project, presentation or unit of work. You can import images, audio files and FLV (Flash video) movie files, as well as write text and link to websites and other resources. Using the Open Explorer Builder you can create rich, focused multimedia experiences that can be both linear and non-linear. Teachers can use this tool to develop students' critical thinking skills and conceptual understanding.

Photo album builder

Years 2–8

Use the Photo album builder to create an interactive photo album. You can add your own digital photos and choose the content for each page. Create a word jumble activity. Add a caption and audio file to each photo. Create a quiz that includes questions and answers on all of the photos. Once you have created an album, you can publish it, or package it together to share with others. A helpful information guide is available at each step to guide first-time users of the resource.

Snappy

Early Years

Use Snappy to create an interactive presentation. You can add your own digital photos, audio files and text. Choose a layout and style for each page. Add a caption to each photo. Your presentation will be saved while you are working. Once you have created a presentation, you can view it in an internet browser, or print it to share with others.
